If washing clothes is a chore for some, ironing them is another thing entirely. But new to the market is a nifty dryer which could make this task a whole lot easier.
The Electrolux Insight EDI96150 is equipped with what the manufacturer calls “iron aid”, as it is a condensing steam dryer which aims to reduce the time spent getting creases out of garments.
According to Electrolux, it can treat five shirts in about 20 minutes and, in some cases, mean ironing is not necessary at all.
However, the device also has a range of settings for various garments, making it multipurpose and potentially ideal for those who find themselves with mountains of clothes to clean.
It is able to clean delicates such as silk and wool in addition to heavier fabrics, while it is also equipped with an LCD information screen and simplistic controls to take the hassle out of doing laundry.
Technical specifications put the drying capacity at six kilograms, with a C-rated energy efficiency class. It is front-loading, free-standing and comes in white.
The dryer is available from Boots Kitchen Appliances
