I don’t think anyone’s been hacking phones at all Bob but, I guess we’ll never know how some of the information gets out. Or how some rumours get started.

A lot of stuff is just good old detective work and a bit of constructive thought coupled with an understanding of the market in general and, viola, you get to the right conclusion or, close to it most of the time. No subterfuge or insider knowledge required.

What I can say with a reasonable degree of certainty is that we may not have seen the last seismic shift in the industry. And, I’d hazard there may be more than one on the not too distant horizon.

There again, I do read an awful lot of news about the industry and extrapolate a lot from stuff that goes on.

Can’t discuss it though as, unless there’s some actual concrete evidence, it’s just a theory.

And that is probably one of the most cryptic posts (or two) I’ve made in a long, long time.

You know how it goes, 0800 kinda had a bit of a flurry then seems to have all but vanished as, so far as I am led to believe, the whole notion of franchises has died a death although there may still be some employed engineers. I really don’t know and, honestly, don’t really hold much interest.

That said, a major protagonist of two there seem to have moved on to pastures new or, just given it up.

But for anything fresh that would be coming along where would you go to look for companies to do work for you?

I could be wrong of course but, if it were me, I’d probably try to reach out to people in one fell swoop, maybe two, to cover as much ground as possible as quickly and easily as possible. Saves effort and time.

Now, where on Earth would you accomplish that then? 😉

Trust me Martin the end isn’t nigh, its just the future may be different..
I’m with Don though ,it would be nice to see you if you could make it
