the fluff in the heat exchange does not look that bad. Your dryer does not have a heater as its a heat pump system

Dave ok, replacing the belt can helpt to give more power tot the fan. will do this first then.

and about cleaning the dus of he heating element, I maybe used to wrong term, but I mean the parts that are fixed and cannot be taken out. in service manual it’s called: capacitor and steamer or Condenser and vaporizer.

bear in mind though if its not to spec you cant fix it

Dave, so this means that if the belt does not solve the issue, then it’s best to buy a new one? to recharing gas is not possible? by a technician? hmm but replacing base completely , then it’s best to buy a new dryer.. . Will post a new thread which one is best to buy if needed.

this is going to be an ongoing problem with dryers in general. since its no longer a dryer as we know it, and uses fridge technology to save energy, then the fridge side can only be repaired by a qualified fridge engineer, with all the proper tools etc. The unit works more like a dehumidifier and could be replaced by a dehumidifier, a table fan and a rack but you would need a spare room

don’t forget if it does not work efficiently then it could be lack of gas or compressor failure and a fridge engineer would have to take pressure reading to determine

I ordered the new original belt .

The clothes are getting more difficult to dry , whole day and very wet. . And I found a lot of water in the bottom filter , I took the water out. Even at the door , once opened , I see condens on the surface and water in a space from the filter in front of the trum.

should I check the water pump too ? Of first replace the belt from the van ?

    Dear Dave

first of all, my sincere apologies, as I really neglected the dryer due to workload and familly.

today my first free day after so long time, I decides to continue to try to fix the dryer.

yes we used the old way to dry our clothes, but this method , gives a lot dust on the clothes. It does has an advantage: less use of eletricity, first time we received some money back from the gas and electrick company :-).

Before I stopped, I did changed the belt that is connected to the fan. but same issue.

Today I took out the waterpump , that mathces the one that you showed me:
    https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/d422207-compatible-tumble-dryer-water-pump

But only difference: mine shows 5 Watt, the on thelink 10 Watt.
or is is save even if the Wattage is higer?

Wel let’s hope this will solve it I think it will be my last replacement.
what is left is to check the brushes , but normally they are ok, or as a last to let a technician fill in the gas (summarizing all that was discussed in this forum).

if the pump is a problem then the water will build up until the full water sign comes on; if that is not the problem then its not the pump

    Dear Dave

see message you send number 8 why try to replace the waterpump.
I don’t use the high tank water as the water goes directly to te house water … .
So I think the water sign will never led up?

I received today the new waterpump, hope to continue end of the week.. .

Dear I replected just now the water pump. I wanted to close all but then I saw:
see picture (pulley is touching the white plastic of the motor)
    https://www.dropbox.com/t/vkXMuZ64DncyPYkM

I remember I had to remove all that was to see , as it was part of the old pully (quote Dave: make sure all residue of the old pulley has gone, see message #3 thread Main motor pulley not sure if this piece is part of it and # 13. ).

maybe I can put that item back in it’s place? Hope I can find it. after removing the plastic arround is it’s little ring. (iron?)

see picture of the ring, don’t think it’s iron but it’s firm from inside

try moving the belt to the last groove on the motor ans the pulley should follow

Will give it a try , I alreay started a test, after I tested the tumble , the pulley does not come near the plastic of the motor.

You mean: belt to te last groove on the pulley? there is not belt on motor.

the pulley is a crown pulley so belt will self centre

so will move on the shaft to get in line with the motor shaft
