ParticipantWe have a AEG model T59870
Type P502867 tumble dryer. Prod no: 916 096 618 00
I ‘m not sure if somethign went wrong, after replacing motor pulley and tumble belt.
I opened the dryer once again to see if somethings wrong: tumble belt is firm and on its place, motor pulley is showing something as if it’s getting pieces away from if , bit by bit.
and an item almost touching the Tumble, I pushed it a little bit to the tumble then it has contact, I pushed it back, but have the feeling that it will keep making contact if the dryer is active.
See pictures dropbox link to show you the motor pulley how it looks like after two weeks use. the belt is correct installed.

ParticipantI’m from Belguim, I found it online from a Dutch (The nederlands, our neigbours) online shop:
https://www.partsnl.nl/zanussi-onderdelen/zanussi-spanrol-1250125034-wasdroger
It should be a original one, … .
So I should send them the picture?
or can it be that something else causes this ?

Moderatorif i read it correctly then this noise is there when the drum is stationary
if yes it will very likely be the pump

ParticipantStationary = drum stopped
if I understood correctly then yes this noise only to hear at the end when drying is finished . Not always .
Could you send a link to this part ?

ParticipantThanks .
what is the function of this pump ? Can it cause the issue ( not drying good )I have ?
I have seen many names of pump : heat pump , condens pump , water supply pump, I want to know if one of these is the same as the one in the link.

Moderatorthat pump pumps the water into the draw at the top. they can make a heck of a noise somtimes when they go wrong
heat pump is what does the drying. think of this dryer more like a dehumidifier in a case

ParticipantOk thanks . So the waterpump needs to be replaced so the water can leave. We don’t use the draw but directly F to the drain , i read again the user manual , the tube that goes to the drain must not be to long , I never Cut the tube . Should this be a cause then I can cut it . As the drain is behind the dryer. Not even a 10 cm.
i also took some time to watch videos and started to clean : don’t know the name, see photo :

om the videos they could take it out and wash it . Mine is full with dust and don’t know how to disassemble this part , any help ?

Moderatoryou cant take that out its part of the refigeration system
dont worry about the hose its fine. the noise if it is the pump, and its likley is due to worn bearings. had a few do this and the noise in beyond belief for something so small

Participantok about the tube. The worm bearings , are they part of the pump or do I need to order them separately? I didn’t understand the latest sentence.
