The filter is slotted into the front of the pump housing.
You will need to unplug and pull the machine out then tilt it back against the units.
Then you will have to release the complete pump from underneath and split it to take out any rubbish you find.

Pulled everything out – there was no rubbish in either the filter or the pump, just a bit of grey gunge.
There was a kink in the drain hose though which I’ve straigtened out and it’s all working fine so thanks for the advice.

I dissassemle whole machine to understand cabling and connections. I’ve spend abbout 3 hours. Meanhile I decided to put apart power cables (230V) from signal cables (5V). No luck. The problem persist.
Then I’ve start looking at the PCB to find out where the heater relay is placed. I’ve find no logic so I decided to change relay 1 and 3.
These two relays are connected to CN1, the 4pin left side powerfull connector.
At the local store I’ve found same relays for 2€ each.
Macine starts working like new.At he link you can see some pictures.
Aha, the washing machine is 8 years old, a bit noisy and the same crap as others.

thanksThen you will need to give us the full model and exact serial number to find the version of PCB you require. Plus you will need a new Eeprom and be able to programme the new PCB with a Hardware Key and attendant Smartcard.:(
Also, as it is a Heater based problem you have it is best also to fit a new heater and temperature probe. 💡
HTH?:D

So basically it’s ready for the tip, as prob not worth the repair costs, or hassle ?
Is that what you’re saying or is it viable to repair?
ThanksJanuary 28, 2011 at 5:19 pm #113012Martin

Hi pro’s, I have posted on this thread before about a year ago and managed to fix the problem so thought I’d pose another ques.
Our washing is starting to come out not clean and sometimes a little smelly.
I have watched the machine when it has done a cycle and noticed that the door window doesn’t get warm at all, I also opened the drawer mid cycle to see if any hot water was going through and it wasn’t. Now I am confused as the machine has a hot water feed, so why isn’t hot water allowed through the drawer?! And could this be why our clothes aren’t getting cleaned?!Any ideas gratefully appreciated, please keep up the good comments.

These machines only use the hot fill as a top up on the hottest washes.
It more likely to be a faulty heating element.
If you have access to a megger or multimeter and know how to use them, unplug from the mains and test the heater for resistance, continuity and insulation.
If it is O/C then that is the cause of your problem.
