    There is a lot of damage to the top of the cooker, yet very little on the walls around the fridge location.

    I sympathise with the coroners verdict but I think it more a knee jerk reaction than a realistic solution. Instead there should be laws put in place forcing manufacturers to declare publicly that a fault, which may cause a fire, is actioned immediately. That it not be left with the manufacturer to decide on a recall but that it be made law that they must immediately issue a recall.

    I have said it before, retailers should make sure registration cards are filled in, although not perfect at least it will keep down the amount of unknown owners if a recall is ongoing.
