You’re a hard man to please if one fault, on one component, on one appliance can lead you to loose respect for a huge company. 🙂

Why not loose just a little respect and then save some for later?

If it were only my board I’d agree with you – unfortunately these forums and online review sites are rife with this fault.

But you are right, they are large company, and I should pace myself on losing respect for them. :clown:

I wouldn’t despair either, they make some cracking appliances, and I dare say they don’t manufacture the PCB (BSHman??)

Once that repair is done to the PCB you should have many years of carefree operation.

I blame the CAD operator 😆

Re: Bosch 6312 Dishwasher: No Heat

I’d just like to thank everybody for their advice.
I had the same problem with my Bosch 5312, no heat, and decided to remove the control panel for a check.
The control panel did indeed have the burned-out solder joint on the relay.
I took the panel into work today and did a top solder job on the joint (I’m an Electronics Engineer).
Fitted the panel back into the machine tonight and ‘Bob’s your Uncle’ I have a working Dishwasher!
Thanks again for saving me a couple of hundred quid.
    Total cost of repair=£0……perfect!
