    Dave,

I’m sorry but you’re hardly even worthy of the effort typing a reply to. You seem to think that somehow you’ve been elevated to a Godlike position because you got some letters after your name, big deal. You might think that you’re somehow superior but I can assure you, you’re not.

More often than not we end up solving the issues that the “proper engineers” like yourself (oops) miss when farting about with drawings as we actually have real world experience, which you can’t replicate in a lab or on a bench.

So get a grip, you’re not superior, you’re not better and you sure as hell have an attitude problem.

Anytime you feel like a real debate feel free to call us, until then please go away and annoy someone with less intelligence than yourself. There’s a real challenge for you.

    K.

    White van man,

Its good to see that after your time in Japan you are now back on Terra Firma again – fixing simple good old fashioned washing machines. Its what your good at !

Now thats something to be proud of. 😀

Oh yeah, by the way, congratulations on your attainment of a HNC, you’ve even surprised me. Pity its only classed as toilet roll in the real world. Well done all the same !

Swish swosh…..whats that I hear…..a poorly washing machine waiting for your attention. Off you pop !!

I have to agree with Kheath’s point. I’m sure many of us had different careers before this current one. Myself, I am university qualified, but who cares as long as you can fix the equipment you’ve been asked to. I work mainly on commercial and industrial machines, does this make me more qualified to call myself an ‘engineer’ than somebody working on domestic whitegoods, hell no. In principle the machines are the same, only some are bigger than the others. In my experience, there is nothing better than good old experience in the field, the classroom just can’t prepare you for everything that can be thrown at you.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Homer Simpson a nuclear engineer? I’m sure he’s got the qualifications to prove it.

Mike errr sorry Dave , please take the time to look up the term “troll” (without the quotes ;)) and what it refers to regarding forums, newsgroups etc.

You’re not doing yourself or the term “engineer” any favours by this ridiculous show of deliberate antagonism.

Please return to the hole whence you came and stay there, there’s a good chap 😉

Dave (yes, that’s really my name)

    Re: Dishwasher Engineers 2??

Both usernames now banned from the forums.

It is quite clear that one or both alter egos had no intention of holding a conversation, he was here simply to antogonise people and I think we’ve all had enough now. This person will now have to apply to admin to have the account/s re-instated.

    Trolling will not be tolerated.

    K.
