Keep up the good work Martin
I’m doing a few as I go as well, just don’t delete any, if you’re not sure, leave them where they are please 😀
Thanks.
Dave.

And here I was thinking, “well it’s pretty bloody obvious REALLY!” 😆
Yeah I moved a load earlier and it takes a bit of time but it isn’t too bad to do. Just do it till you get bored or whatever then someone else can have a go, we’ll get there with it.

If we can figure a way to stop him or slow him up, at least there’s a chance we may catch up at the very least :rotfl:

KeymasterA fair bit of it Mark, just a case of trawling through the General forum and placing the threads in the correct forum.
I have to say I’m far happier with that layout, I think it’s far more logical and intuative to use and hopefully will eliminate the “hope I’ve posted in the correct forum” remarks.
And err, no… we’re not short of work, quite the opposite actually. 😕

Mark,
Have you not twigged yet that your posts are answered in less time than a ray from the sun can reach the earth. FFS a penquin could freeze if he slowed up.
Its more interesting when there is a solar flare, usually when a bottle of jd dissapears with a curry, and ends up in the well known “scottish black hole” called the “rumour mill”
However we stalwarts of black holes(and ones with brown edges) (warming up for sibson) continue to read with relish (it helps the black holes become white ones).

KeymasterOh so you want to talk about cosmic physics do you?
Are you sure?
Really?
I mean it is an interest of mine, cosmic events, wormhole and black hole, white dwarf theories and the works of Einstein about time and gravity which forms the basis of relativity. Not read any Hawking yet though, no time.. 😉

ParticipantI dunno, leave you lot on your own for 10 hours to do a days work and look what you get up to………
Looks good.
What has happened to the little bits of earnest advice which WERE in the Tips forum? Be a shame to lose them (I KNOW I wrote one of them).
Cheers
Chris.

KeymasterThere’s some in the general public forum P, the rest are being put where they hold the most relevance.

They should all be in the general public one if they are general advice, any advice aimed specifically at washers/cookers etc should be in the relevent forum now.
If I cocked any up, feel free to move them at will, I only deleted a total of three posts and they were related to the Turkish hack, and two concerning database issues.

Just over two weeks later, it appears to be working.
Is it just me or is there a general lack of repetetive posts from the public asking the same things ?
It was worth the eyeball boggling late Thursday night 😀

No Dave, I’m sure you’re correct. Whilst the daily ‘hit rate’ remains consistent, the number of posts has fallen. So I guess many more people are finding it easier to get the answers within those new forums 🙂

Please can I remind you guys to make sure folks post in the correct forums? Time and time again Joe Public posts a lot of stuff in the Public General Enquires instead of the relevant forums. So do please help put them in the correct slots eh? 😉

Um, probably not a great time to query it, but I note that I am now dropping unsolicited spam at the bottom of every post?
If this is compulsory, why not add “Click here for a Service call” and we can get our sigs back to original?
Humbug. 😀
Chris.
