Don, can you enter the two halves of the post code in the first & second box in Google Chrome?
I can enter the first half in the first box, then click on the second box and its outline changes to a thicker yellow line but as soon as I release the mouse the box highlighter reverts back to the first box so I cannot enter the second part of any postcode in Chrome, the first box will not accept a full six or seven digit code.
‘Send Enquiry’ now working in IE though. 🙂

Just tried using my mouse to move across to the second box with no success. I used the tab across button just above the caps lock 😉 with no problem.Don

I can’t remember if I let the general trade know about this, the mods and TA members have been playing with this for a week or two now…
Basically you can login to your account from the main content side of the site (from the homepage essentially) and manage your search results from there.
You can change the brands you cover, the products, you contact details, mark yourself on holiday and stuff like that. We will be adding more in the future to this, some of it is essential to be using or, will be.
Anyway, to login to your account you need to have me tie up your username to your account for the engineer search first. This has to be done administratively, you cannot do that yourself and it ties your username to the account.
Once that’s down you have to login and, since I posted the new instructions not so long ago on the TA forum, I’m going to paste it here…
The login for the content side of the site is now no longer there, not needed now.
This is the new method for logging in…
Look at the top of the screen to the right hand side, see the “Member Login” text with a key, like this…
Click that, you get this pop up appear…
Enter your details as usual, like so….
Click on the login button, and the popup will close and you’ll see this now at the top….
This tells you that you’re logged in okay.
A leaflet thing I made up for Martin to explain it, before the login changed , is here:
Any questions, please ask.

Am I tied in? If not, please can you?

Done Tim.
I’d check the brands you have listed, not so many. 😉

Just spotted 3 postcode regions missing from my details but cannot edit the postcode section. Could you please add GU17 GU46 GU51 & GU52 for me please Ken? 🙂

No, you cannot edit the postcodes, only admin can do that.

Now I have control over the management of the module… 😈
I have added new products to the search making it a lot clearer on cookers, range cookers and refrigeration product categories as well as added induction hob as a separate one.
You will need to add what you do as they will be unselected as a default.

Bit of a crash when I mistakenly tried to add an appliance that was already on the list.

Came up as Luton for me. 😕
But that is a search on Google’s mapping information, our database is only using the info from Google for mapping.
Except for, if someone puts down an incorrect postcode or a postcode is allocated to an account in error then it will show as the repair company covering that postcode. If you see what I mean.
For example, if you said you covered DD1 and that postcode was allocated to your account, then you’d show up on a search for Dundee.

Woohoo!
First call for NW this morning for a range cooker. 🙂
Also a few other brands added, just so you all know.
