Re: In search of the fourth cord

New member torxhead is doing the usual rampaging around the forums spouting off on all maner of things, sometimes with an interesting comment but often pointless and stupid contributions. I have sent him a PM warning him that he is on very shaky ground if he attempts to cross swords with the Jackal on legal matters. Hopefully he will, like most new members rein himself in given time. 🙂

It’s what happens when forums get as big as UKW.

New people don’t get what’s gone before and need time to “adjust” their thinking to understand it all.

    Can’t knock the enthusiasm though.

Well I did PM him in the hope that he would try and tone it down a bit, sadly that seems to have backfired. Instead of replying to my PM he added this post to the thread in Legal Matters. I was trying to stop him making a fool of himself by getting into a legalise battle with Jackal.

iadom has just pm ed me to say dont cross jackal. because he has a law degree.

if anyone doesnt like what i say, they can lump it because i speak my mind.
simple aint it, dont like it, lump it.

ps, in laymans terms; anyone with some sense or with a law degree, would agree everyone is entiled to say their views.

its called freedom of speech and i am righly doing so without using offensive or threatening language.

pps if it is true that jackal has a law degree, then what the hell is he doing on here when he can be making £1000`s of pounds per day as a lawyer.

ps, why be affraid and hide what you say by pm ing me iadom?, iadom

I removed it and have sent him another PM as follows.

I sent you a PM in the hope that it would stop you making a fool of yourself. If you think it is clever to post the reply you did then that is up to you but such posts will be removed.

You really need to take a step back and think about the things you post.

An instance today springs to mind when you commented in a two year old thread that the original poster and I quote, ‘musn’t have done the job correctly’, then started going on about changing drum spiders with bearings. The thread was about a tumble dryer for gods sake, not a washing machine.

This is a friendly, helpful forum, making comments on other forum members quality of work is not acceptable and will not be allowed.

You know sometimes its just funnier to let idiots have their say and demonstrate their ability to comprehend reality. The age old saying:-

“its better to keep quite and be thought a fool and to type in a forum and remove all doubt”.

is quite apt in this case.

I gave up on the subject when he announced he hasnt worked for ANYONE for the past 20 years so here he is talking about things that supposedly happened to him over 20 years ago but quite how that relates to the OP’s request for information regarding something that happened a month ago is simply beyond me!

I am grateful to you guys for thinking on my reputation. 😀 😀

    Regards

    Jackal

Good grief. I have resisted the temptation to change his password and lock him out.

    Earth calling…..

Obviously either completely drunk or completely insane.

If there’s a repeat then it’s one warning then lock him out, or disable the ability to post at the very least.

Re: In search of the fourth cord

    Guys good morning

How do you lock him out or change his password?

Is there some sort of additional admin right I do not have?

Just asking a question thats all.

Yeah, there’s only a few of us have access to the admin to that degree.

At the time it was a well meaning attempt to try and help torxhead from making himself look a ****head. Sadly it backfired but I feel that sooner or later he would have ‘gone over the top’ anyway. :rolls:

I’m sure that Jackal would agree with the advice given in torxheads last post before he logged off. ‘Go round and threaten to put their windows through’. 😯
