He called all of us a whole load of things. I’ll not rise to the bait. Hope he’s a fanatical Portsmouth fan – that would be much crueller. :rotfl:

In some ways he is a sad individual. If as he says he is schizophrenic and on medication then that does go some way to explaining his behaviour, however it does not excuse it.
I did pick up on one small comment he made last night which did strike a chord and gave me an insight into his state of mind.
In the thread where he was trading posts/insults with Chris late last night there was a point when Chris had had enough and said ‘you are on your own now’. I took this to mean that Chris was not going to respond to any more of his posts that evening.
Torxheads reply was very telling, something along the lines of ‘ you know how to kick a man when he’s down, yes I am on my own’. I think he had misunderstood what Chris meant but it all points to a lonely and somewhat disturbed individual.
Unless he really steps out of line big time it may be a good idea to tread carefully round him for now, delete any rubbish, don’t get involved in any arguments etc. 8)

Jim, I think you have hit the nail right on the head.
I withdraw from the first set of postings so as to not inflame the situation in the hope he and it would burn out.
He is new and it is quite obvious he has personal issues of a very serious nature, whether they be health or otherwise I dont know but in a way I do feel sorry for him.
His posts overnight seem somewhat calmer if not exactly on subject or upto date. I would suggest the stepping on egg shells approach to him and hopefully he will come round to showing the respect this site and the posters to it deserve. I think engaging him on anything contentious especially later in the day will be fraught with problems.
Just my tuppence worth.

New member kitchenbuyer is interesting, his registration e-mail addy is ren_tj@yahoo.com.au but his IP address resolves to Worcestershire ISP 😕
I was about to move him to the Oz forum. 🙂

Are we happy to let Torxhead and Gandh1 chat away in Legal? Not really what it’s for…
Gandhi1 has said that it’s a shared login, which I rather thought was against the rules.

I’ve not really been paying attention to it TBH.
If it’s wandered off topic I’d split the thread and let them gas away elsewhere.
Shared login is, by the letter of the law, against the rules. Enforcing it is another thing altogether sadly and I know a few that I either know do it or strongly suspect do it.
Of course a PM with, “about those parts you wanted to sell me cheap” or, “those drugs you asked me about” can soon put paid to a shared login. 😉 😆

How, you did mention you had sussed how to do this a while back but I seem to have ‘missed’ the tutorial. 😉March 29, 2010 at 9:45 am #284427kwatt
KeymasterLike I’m gonna remember! 😀
It’s in this forum… somewhere. 😕
IIRC it involves a double click or something odd like that, I discovered it by accident one night.

I have looked everywhere, even went onto a couple of php help forums but couldn’t track it down.

I wonder what helo_75 has sent user scooby555 here on the Hotpoint PCB configuration thread?
