Hmmm
I was watching the Servis thread at the time of his last post and literally 3 mins prior I noticed a user was watching the thread with a username pgreenberg.
If it is the same pgreenberg whom is ultimately Mike Days boss it’s an interesting coincidence I think, but I might just be seeing monsters in room

Surely not everyone north of the border is as bone idle as this chap. :rolls:
I don’t wish to stereotype anyone but with the exception of Seamy most of the posts in the Trade Tech forums from the Irish lads have me curling up in disbelief at the stupidity of some of the questions lately, you can add Garn from Wales in with them as well. :eeek:
Curmudgeonly Jim. 😀

I have just PM’d scots and wozzie apologising for deleting what I thought was the shadow thread in the public general enquiries which I had earlier moved to the tumble dryer help forum. I am sure I unchecked the shadow box so not to have a duplicate thread. What I didn’t realise was that by deleting the shadow I was also deleting the thread in tumble dryer forum.
Another valuable lesson learned 😐

There are still several gremlins on the site, when you actually click on the ‘don’t leave a shadow’ it doesn’t register as selected even though it has been.
The same thing happens if you want to add an image file, some of the buttons you click do not register as having been ‘clicked’ but still work.
I still haven’t worked out why I found my way to the ‘Front Page’ when clicking ‘view new posts’ yesterday. Front page appeared to be a scaled down version of the user control panel but I can’t find my way back there. 😕

I’ve not had a problem with the shadow thing at all. 😕
Not had any issues with the uploads either. 😕
By front page, what do you mean?
I know that certain browsers present in different ways, which is a royal PITA for so many reasons but, I don’t know if that would explain what you’re seeing Jim.
Of course I use and test on Safari (primary), Chrome and Firefox. I do not use IE unless I really feel forced to as it’s cr4p and slow IMO.

It does seem to happen more in IE, not a problem in Chrome.
If you select move post and click the ‘leave a shadow’ box to deselect in IE the box remains ticked even though it does not leave a shadow.
If you try to upload an image in IE the ‘Browse’ or Choose file button does not change to the small hand when you hover over it but it still works.
Again this doesn’t happen in Chrome but as a huge proportion of people will be using IE it could be a little confusing.

IE is a pile of…. 😀
I’ve not seen anything that’s referred to as a front page TBH.
Very odd.

Registered user paulwmahas a thread running in the trade tech which Ken moved earlier on a WM64.
Is paul wma trade or was it just a slip of the mouse?
The same thread is also running in the public forum as well.
I don’t want to start moving, deleting and making an ass of myself again :clown:

I thought he had trade access, seems like a trade question and, IIRC, he’s asked about several different machines hasn’t he?
Or, I could be wrong.

If you recall, this is the punter who registered under two different names. He was discussed several times HERE and HERE
He says he has applied for trade access but for some reason it hasn’t been granted.
I am only guessing and reading between the lines of all his posts but I think that he may be involved with scrap machines in some way and decided he could make some extra by repairing them.
If you look back at most of his earlier posts and in fact any of his recent ones it is obvious that he has very little idea of what he is doing and I for one am loath to assist someone who may be taking the bread out of the mouth a genuine trader.
Thats why I never answer his posts, I don’t think he is a kosher trader but I am open to being proved wrong. 🙂

No. It hasn’t been approved.
A warning perhaps and best from you than me, I think I upset him. 😉
