ParticipantI was in a house repairing a “quality” HEC and out of the blue the customer said she was listening to Wessex FM this morning and the DJ was saying how he had been told to get a ISE at around £500 because they were designed by engineers and had a 5 yr guarantee so maybe I should get a dozen in just in case. the word is spreading.
Bit surprising to get that feedback when she had obviously been cheesed off by her HEC.
What is available at the moment?

Hi Rob,
We’ve just introduced the AW23 which can be bought in either a 2 year or 5 year warranty format and, of course, there’s the ISE10 which is, IMO, the mutt’s do-da’s. 😉
The full range is listed in the shop with retail pricing HERE if you want trade pricing or whatever just let me know and I’ll send you a list.
I have to say we’ve heard more and more of people telling us that they’ve heard about the machines from various places, a lot of it on recommendation from other people that have one, which is good. But this is the first I’d heard of it on radio recently. 🙂
There definitely has been an upsurge of interest though, for whatever reason.

I have over 200 ISE appliances out there now, just installed my first new AW23 this afternoon. 8)

Three years since my first one went in, generating a nice steady little income now. 😀

Ken,
would love to have the AW23 in the van and not too frightening a price. Looks like a Servis programmer, Amica cabinet crossed with a Whirlpool commercial.

It’s an Amica built machine that’s exclusive to us Rob. 🙂
It’s a fair price, nice, simple and works.

Hi Jim
Any feedback on reliability, with that number sold, you must have a feeling on any faults.
I have sold a few of the ISE2 unfortunately got problems with one.
Out of 3 sales
I want to sell more but just need a bit reassurance

I’ve sold a couple of Amicas recently and they seem to do a good job and have a decent water level too

Nothing to drastic, on the earlier ISE 5 from Beko its mainly brushes etc, the odd motor on very heavily used machines, one or two other isolated problems, overall not to bad.
ISE 10’s nothing other than customer misuse.
Vestel ISE 2 & 5 a few door lock problems early on, a couple of ISE 2 modules and thats about it, but I do get handsomely rewarded by ISE Ltd whenever I do a service call. 8)
Have you posted about your ISE 2 problem in the closed ISE forum?
Jim.

What numbers can we order the new machines in. Singles, or is it still in threes?

RobThis would be the ISE 5 I delivered this morning to Jason Herbert of Wessex FM. 😀 He was intrigued by the ideology behind ISE and after 5 minutes looking at the brochure, “We’ll have one of these please”.
This is after having a £220 Zanussi ZDF1621 with bonded tub and chocolate teapot electronics. Computer board failure at 16 months for a couple with a young baby – they were not impressed at all. Board at £97 + VAT cost to me and a noisy pump adds up with labour to a scrapper.
I know that EMW could fix the electronics but they were suitably shocked by the fate of the Zanussi and didn’t want to repair it. It’s in my van ATM. As Ken has said,”The tide is turning”………
All I can say is that it’d better be the most reliable ISE I’ve ever sold in that case….. OR…… :hitfan:Steve.

Hi Don,
Steve is nearer to Bournemouth than me. I’m in Puddletown. Came down from London 17 years ago so a bit of a local now.
I was just wrning Steve to get back to his own patch 8)
