Hi all again, phew its been all go again. I just cannot seem to restrain the ol customers they come back for more.

To be honest I have been absolutely busy since last Sept/Oct time until last week when the buggers gave me a bit of a rest but now they are screaming for me to work all over the hols. Also as I have said the computer got all bugged up, so that became interesting with all but word and Internet frozen up.

I purchased a laptop in the end but that was just to tide me over a few day’s while the main one got re-rigged.

I now have AVG anti virus instead of Mcafee stuff that did little to no use to a snake in the grass who has turned vegetarian.

I am looking forward to the DASA meeting in Glasgow; I have to put that in lads. It would be nice to see some of you there. The missus wont be coming, a shame that, she can be good fun, well so I am told.

How did your meeting go, I bet it was an excellent affair especially without the miserable OT around, but as I have said I have been very busy and so will the tax man and the dreaded VAT..

Flippin whatsit the **** phone is going again sorry lads have to go.

The meeting went really well OT, I think everyone enjoyed it and took a lot from it. There’s a thread about it in the UKW forum I think and the next one promises to be even better. 😉

Get Norton Anti-virus, it’s just SO much better.

I may see you in Glasgow, but perhaps only briefly as we’re a bit busy over those few days sorting a few projects out but, we are there in the morning for a little while. In so far as I know we will not be attending the council meeting.

Okay, another 516 calls downloaded this evening with over 200 for just washers alone!

23 Bosch washers and 57 Hoover or Hotpoint, in washers alone!

Now at even a (IMO very) low £40 a throw that’s over £20,000 in lost labour charges in a shade over two weeks around the land. Increase that to my current “any call” rate and it’s over £25,000 and, given the previous two weeks turnover on that, that’s about a potential £50,000 worth of service calls in a month. Not too shabby for a backwater website giving that away for free is it?

Oh and last month we topped 1000 unique visitors per day again, looks like we’ll do that at least again this month as well… all these people looking for a fix…

Kevins post clarifies Daves map (in English) but I suspect it only reflects UKW’s missing coverage anyway. For example, and probably most surprisingly, we have no coverage (to my knowledge at least) in Liverpool/Birkenhead, nobody in Edinburgh, Bournemouth or Portsmouth Southampton. 🙁

What I find very surprising though is the lack of cover in Bristol???

…..or do we have coverage in those streams of postcodes you show :con:

Remeber Martin we only see the dead clls here and even if there is someone in those locations it may well be that they do not actually do gas or whatever brand it happens to be. So whilst it serves as a good indicator and reminder that there is limited cover, it does not say that there is no cover at all. That said, some of the ares you mention you’re right, there’s no cover. Yet.
