    I was going to order a Hotpoint switch just now from Masterpart, part number 1800485. When it came up at £34.12 I knew it must have been an error, I have every confidence it will be sorted out ASAP.

    However I thought I would Google the part number,………….. perhaps I should pay £34.12 for one of these after all. 😉

    me too waters £40.14, but Connect £5.45 or 2+ £5.08. Must be a mistake at Masterpart ❓ ❗

    Is anyone else having problems with their deliveries???. Ordered Monday,tuesday and yesterday and haven’t received any of the orders. Rang them late yesterday to be told that they are no longer using Citylink, they are now using Home delivery network and the changeover has affected the deliveries. Should have had the orders today, but I haven’t 👿 .

    Had minor problems, nothing that couldn’t be sorted out. I’m sure it will settle down once the new couriers have ‘bedded in’..

    My deliveries are even better now turns out its my cousin thats doing the deliveries now, if nobody in here he pops down to my mums if shes out he drops them of at night, great service now.

    Can Masterpart get Candy/Hoover parts easily?
    Called at 9.00 am looking for T/D door switch part number 40004092.
    was told by the office junior that he would have to pass it to the tech guy’s
    to look into it. 😯

    Still wating at 1.30, phoned again and was told they were very busy.and still no answer as to can they get the part or not.

    Googled it and found espares and c&m domestics list it.
    Come on Masterpart get with the program. 😡

    At the start of this week we have transferred to a new back office computer system. There are a lot of changes to processes that we are getting familar with and a few teething issues. Please bare with us in the interim.

    I’ve just had a phone call from Masterpart, apparently I’ve not paid last months account balance of £45.14 AND because I’ve ordered more parts on-line they inform me that they won’t send them UNTIL they receive last month’s payment. 👿

    When I explained to the young lady that coincidentally I posted the cheque to them this morning when I left home. And that I deal with my monthly accounts as and when I get their statement. That I received said statement only last week. That I did my accounts yesterday (Sunday) when I wrote the cheque out and stuffed it into an envelope and posted it early this morning.

    I further explained that I ordered the parts because I needed them urgently, as per usual, and that it could be at least Wednesday before they get my cheque, Thursday before they re-establish my account, Friday before they attempt to fulfill it!…a sodding week lost at least, probably longer!!!! 👿

    When I offered to PAY for my order by debit card over the phone, thus ensuring they deal with my request this very day, she went away then came back and said she couldn’t do that and would need to speak to ‘someone’ and phone me back????????

    My exasperation got the better of me at that point and rather than losing my rag I merely told her not to bother, do what she has to do and in the fullness of time my account will be propped-up once again. I never realised the value some people put on £45.14 until now. They mustn’t be able to sleep at night over it….desperate times indeed eh?

    Yet another MASTERPART story. :rolls:

    ordered part of web says in stock (TY14124) as customer needs cooker done as family coming for xmas ordered last tuesday along with other spares finally got parcel today due to home network stuffing up my deliverly 😈 just to find that part TY14124 to inbox 👿 recheck on web says in stock phoned them and they say yep in stock so not sure if to reorder and wait another week for home network cowboys to deliver or just have to tell customer cant get part in time :rolls:

    Apparently, as of last Wednesday they should have switched to DHL for deliveries.
