Yeah for my delivery area they come via DHL Domestic and I get this dopey bird using her own 2009 reg Honda 4X4. Both Next and Lakeland use the same delivery system and the very same dopey bird is now a regular visitor to my house. I always insist that deliveries are placed in the rear porch but dopey bird won’t open the back gate (just in case there’s a dog? – apparently) so she invariably leaves parcels propped up against the gate! Nice touch that, in the rain and snow and all.
We’ve spent ages dialling 0845 numbers complaining about her, she even ‘mixes and matches’ her delivery addresses. Several weeks back a large parcel wasn’t delivered at the other end of the village instead she delivered a small black package to my house for that same delivery address. And because it was small, waterproof and light she simply dumped it over my back fence. You’ve guessed it, the large undelivered parcel should have been for me, instead it went back to the depot and sat there a few days.
Oh how I miss the large yellow DHL van coming down my drive….happy days, long gone! :rolls:

ParticipantMasterpart put my account on hold and held back my deliveries despite me paying all my invoices for the past 4 years.
The agnoying thing is they didnt even tell me they were holding back my parts and my account was on hold on, I had to call up and enquire where my parts were!.
Turns out my end of month statement for October didnt include all invoices.
What a joke, come on Masterpart, have a word with your accounts department.

Had problems with Masterpart before had a call from them just before Christmas asking why I had not placed any orders for a while. I told them the website was useless for finding parts and often says part in stock when it is not. I was reassured all was now working well, so yesterday I placed my first order in ages, only five items but all for jobs this week. A few minutes later I received an order conformation by email, so I phoned my customers and booked the calls for tomorrow. This afternoon the parcel arrived, two of the parts are not in stock. Phoned them to be told the conformation is automatic and I had not been charged for the out of stock parts. HELLO! I need the parts tomorrow why did nobody call me to say we only have half the parts. Masterpart get your act together I do not like letting my customers down it is damaging for my business, so in future Connect will get my business.
Do they want to stay in business?January 8, 2014 at 4:47 pm #318616A1TEC

I must be lucky as I’ve rarely had a problem with Masterpart’s stock accuracy, but I do wonder whether their large eBay business may be a factor as it presumably shares the same warehouse stock.

I have been let down three times by them, there will not be a forth. As many have said the prices are good a shame the business is let down by that awful website lack of stock control and poor communications.
Interesting point about their large eBay business, pity they do not look after us trade customers that kept them going for years before eBay came along. It seems they do not understand that letting us down is damaging to our business and our reputations that take years to build up.January 9, 2014 at 9:05 pm #318620walnut

HM1403 fan elements, probably the most common fan element going but it is always out of stock! then again nearly everything I search for on their website is ‘out of stock’.

Yes, same here. Ordered twice in the last 2 or 3 months only to find when my order has arrived its missing parts and they’ve been put on backorder. Its always the ones yours desperate for.
I’ll use them if i’m desperate but its Qualtex and Connect for me.January 10, 2014 at 2:22 pm #318622A1TEC

Perhaps Masterpart should post up a reply as to why there appears to be some problems for some customers.
To be fair i know you can’t please all of the people all of the time but as far as I can see masterpart customers are only ordering parts and not demanding any special treatment.
If i thought for one minuet that one of my customers was unhappy with the service i supply i would rather talk to them and deal with the problem head on.So come on master part what do you say, how about having a look and see if you can improve your service to all of your customers.
John.

I am surprised at how common, gen BEKO carbons can be out of stock for 2 months or more at a time.
Just placed an order now, 8 items, 5 out of stock, none of them would be classed as rarely used parts, Hotpoint drain pumps, drum spiders, door seals, etc. 😥

Are we witnessing a firm in financial difficulties here?

My last order was for two rs21 evap covers and two evaporators
Got the evaporators but the covers were out of stock yet the website say in stock the conformation email showed all items and the total for the order.
To crown it all I paid by credit card and spoke to someone within half an hour who still do not mention that half the stuff I ordered was out of stock, unbelievable. -
