Keymaster😆
As soon as I get the word to go I’ll just get on with it. 😉
Then I’ll explain why once it’s done. There’s good reason to be cagey on this I’m afraid as it requires a bit of secrecy to ensure the result. You can’t even do a bl00dy domain name search these days without the risk of someone pinching the damn name.

I can resist no longer, please forgive me.
What about
The Whitegoods Association of Traders. 😯
Back to sensible, the WTA is neat and precise, ‘whats on the tin’ in fact. 8)Jim.

With that in mind I’ve been busy scurrying about in the background. I decided as it seemed that there was little argument that I’d just get cracked on with it. 🙂

Are all registered. All point to Laser namerservers and should be live within 72 hours.
Joomla CMS (Content Management System) will be installed over the next day or so which all the listed domains will resolve to. Obviously I’ll have to do some copy and configuration as it will be a “clean” install. This will take a little time I think as I’ll have to learn a totally new CMS system, the joy.
One of the reasons for using Joomla is to differentiate a little from UKW. Whilst this does give some headaches I guess we have to put up with it for now until the dust settles and we get a decent feel for all of it.
The reason for using “www.whitegoodstradeassociation.com” etc. is dead simple, Google etc LOVE relevant URLs without underscores, dots and all that sort of malarky. After that it is largely content and link driven which is linked to site relevance. At least that’s what experience, a shedload of time spent on SEO (Search Engine Optomisation) for UKW and SEO experts have taught me. It also puts three very relevant keywords into the URL and site title.
And, best of all, this wasn’t a waste of post number 10,000. 😉

KeymasterGot a reply from Li, he’s going to install Joomla over the weekend, I’ll report back once it’s live.
Do you want me just to get on and write stuff up or does some kind soul want to do some? Doesn’t really matter to me as I’ll tap stuff out pretty quick to get it going.

Well, if you have a website you need copy (content) to fire up there. 😉
I’ll ask John nicely to work some marketing magic, I heard somewhere he was good at that sort of thing. 😉

Fantastic Ken, both on the web stuff and the success of UKW!

Good, now I have something to do rather than boringly prodding DAG or whoever for fun. 🙂

I’ll just slowly work away at it and then start to get it indexed properly.

KeymasterThere you go, I got around to writing some holding text and mucking about with the template to make it look nice.
I’ve deliberately kept it simple.

TBH honest I never thought to try it. 😳
Too used to just flying about sites getting stuff done at will I suppose without really having to login beyond admin. 😉
It’ll get there but I’ve a lot to learn.
