That’s great K, please carry on, we’re all following, but, more importantly, what about the green…. 😆

Hi Wash

KeymasterWell, there’s not a lot I can do about the green unless I change the template a bit and red/grey looked pants. 😉

Oh well…. It’s only a colour I suppose! But if the option does come about at a later date….. can you think of me and my dislike for Green please 😀 😆
P.S, Bryan, i fear a few pints as interest are due at the Sept meeting 😀

See, you’re just not getting how things work around here. 😉
Now you’ve admitted this you do realise that green will likely become the colour of choice. In fact, it’s very likely that you’ll get the “Just for Adrian, we chose green colours” type comments. It’s like admitting something we can all rib you about and, being in HM Forces, you should know better! 😆
Expect green text from Martin in the morning.
TBH the reason I left was twofold, one I’ve not have the time to experiment with the colouration and permanent links and, I kinda think it looks okay as well as different to UKW to some extent. Not that that will put off the detractors from the “it’s UK Whitegoods” comments. :rolls:
I was actually thinking about that again last night a bit and I came to the conclusion that, we have a heritage, why the hell should we try to hide it after all, it’s not that bad and happens to be one of the most popular appliance sites in the world? Personally speaking, I don’t see that as something to be ashamed of or something that is bad to be associated with.

LOL, I just knew that one was coming. Ah well ! at least you didn’t need to take a day off work and travel hundred of miles to discuss colours and ties.
I think ties should be banned from any meeting of the WTA any way.Sean

How the hell would I keep my trousers up? Suppose being from the West Country, baler twine will suffice, then the tie could trap food spillages, be wrung out in hot water & used as a soup.

I have noticed the odd typo ( well somone had to) 😆 on the new WTA web site, if instead of it and the obligatory ‘teh’ etc, 😉
Would you like some of us to mention them now or wait until nearer the lauch date.?Jim.
PS. I have just spotted a cracker on the ISE homepage, as a clue it may have been typed by a pirate, or a West Countryman. 😉

I don’t believe this!
The WTA website is already ranked by Alexa, okay it’s far from being high as it’s just outside the top million sites (given the number out there though ;)) within a couple of weeks. The laugh is, I wasn’t even trying, I was actually trying to keep it low profile.
Maybe I should try? 😉

Well, ta.
I finally got a couple of hours to spend on it this weekend so there’s a slew of new stuff on there and I managed to fix the menu as well as the annoying “you are not allowed to view this resource” message I think.
Need to get some pictures up there though to brighten the place up a bit, I’ll blag some from UKW. 🙂
I really need to make some changes to the news, front page and a host of other things before I’m even remotely happy though.
One more question, when do we tell everyone it’s been done?

Hold up!……One question?…..Ken is working his socks off on this….he only needed a hint of enthusiasm on the Trade Association kick and he’s off like a friggin’ greyhound, and well for him anyway….But so far nobody has given diddly squat to help out here, lots of support (well 25{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} anyway!) 😕
Is it a forgone conclusion then that the Sibson meet in September is going to see this project into a realistic workable reality? A roomful of supporters ready to rubberstamp the idea through?
I guess so. But I hope at that meeting someone will question the motives and its incentives and at least try to project a realistic vision of the future for this trade and if a new trade association is the answer to everyones wishes?
It is hoped that those that sanction Kens thoughts and ideas, share the same ideals and play an active part in trying to achieve the same? As often is true that so many have so much to give but when asked to do so just cannot seem to find the time?
How true is that of the life and times of DASA? Their epitaph should be: So many influential members – so little time!
It’s all good stuff reading the ‘Go for it Ken’ lark, but I really wonder how many will stand alongside Ken come the day?
Sibson will kick it off I know, the beginning no doubt. Meanwhile guys, think on, think long and hard, figure it out, then come to Sibson and TELL US ALL ….then quit the bullshite and roll your sleeves up and play a part! 😉
Talk the talk —- but can all you guys walk the walk???????????????
P.S…. Please don’t question where I am in this?….Question where YOU ARE?????…..Then tell us….we’re listening to any bright ideas 😀
