Hi
I have recently moved into a house with a Necht WQP12-9319 dishwasher.
When I switch it on the display says “18” and none of the grey function buttons respond. esp the program button and corresponding lights (none of which are illuminated).
Needless to say – nothing else happens. Seems to be stuck like this.
Previous owners not very helpful.
It’s fitted into the work surface so I’m trying to avoid using the reset switch. Could be destructive!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

DO NOT BUY FROM NECHT OR MAPLE INDUSTRIES. THE GUY WHO RUNS IT IS A RIP OFF MERCHANT (Vince Miller), HAS BEEN ON WATCHDOG AND BEEN ISSUED WITH A STOP TRADING ORDER IN THE PAST.
PRODUCTS HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO EXPLODE & IGNITE! DO NOT APPROACH!

😥 My Necht WQP8 9325, Shows a E4 fault just after being switched on. It doesn’t appear to be the level switch, I thought this as the drain pump runs for a short period then stops. Any help woulod be appreciated as the guarantee ran out last week!

Base flooded as usual. Unplug it and tip it back to reset.

Reset procedures found in these forums generally refer to SMEG-built appliances. Yours, sadly, is a Haier or “Little Swan”, from China. Spectacular failure rates……..
Right – 3 in 1 tablets froth badly, foam has rather different thermal properties compared with water and an overheat situation on the element will happen. This should, in theory, trip out the safety thermostat on the underside of the machine. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to source you a replacement. If you are unlucky, the element many have failed as well. You will need to use a test meter to find out for certain.
If you are not sure how to proceed, use the repairs@ link below to find a UKW repairer in your area.
Power off, if you intend to investigate this yourself.

no luck finding the reset switch on my dishwasher i belive you can’t get parts for this thing so no point calling anyone out is it time for the skip?
i do have photos with back off but still getting E3 errorMay 16, 2007 at 11:39 pm #118853Penguin45

It isn’t a re-set switch, it’s a safety cut-out – single use only. Pictures of the back won’t help – if you can get one of the underside, we might be able offer some pointers. We can get parts – this machine appears under numerous different badges, so we can usually find parts from somewhere. Use a link from Photobucket or similar to post.

Not Bekelec in Otley……….?
Have you stuck the test meter across the terminals to check for continuity? Don’t spend ’til you know – expensive way of repairing an appliance.:p45:
