ParticipantAs Ken says, we went for the top specification would could and the machine at Sibson was the base ISE machine. The dishwasher was not, the fully free standing version which more closely matched the washer was not available so they supplied the semi integrated stainless version.

Is it possible to set the temperature control both above and below its programme default settings?

KeymasterUntil we test it I can’t say for sure.

Are there any machines on the market on which you can set the temp above the default setting? Surely such a feature would allow someone to boil their woollens.

Usually, like you said Jim, if you select a 90 wash you would be able to select that temp and below. Likewise on say a 60 you would be able to select that temp below but not above, as it would be pointless. It also guards against little fingers adjusting the temperature during a wash.
Will have a play with it as Sean has it in the workshop 🙂Greg

Good grief – just how fast does it spin?

Correct me if I am wrong but the machine we saw at Sibson had a 1400 spin speed. 😕 However, losing a ‘couple of thousand RPM’ would make go into reverse. 😆

So, correct Chris & myself, if a machine doing 1600 RPM loses a ‘couple of thousand RPM’ it would be doing -400 RPM, is that not going against the laws of physics. :rolls: 😉 😆
