buisness worryinly quiet. hi guys god its dead just now.got ads in yellow pages an do cuple o letting agencys. but still daed wi work 😳 have never done insurance work. is it good money.and how do you get involved in it.?edinburgh area.?

It seems to have gone quiet since mid last week for us and we have been busy up until then. Not nearly the amount of enquires on the phone but we do have some work on at least.

Very quiet here as well, one job today and one booked for tomorrow so far. Only did 8 jobs last week.

naw just me en mmmmmn . gone are the days bein booked up days in advance lol any one do pub glass cleaners? had few inquires if a fix them. my local got charged £375 for some repair last week. wud be handy to learn how? also mibe free beer lol :rolls:

Done one a month ago.
Landlord in the pub had recently had a new element fitted at 40 pound part and 200 pound labour, He didnt ring them back when it developed a leak he rang me, Hes now a client of mine because he didn’t like the last firms labour charge,neither would i though, does seem the labour costs when going commercial side go through the roof!Re: no work
Try finding work for 7 engineers. At present we are o.k. on a day by day basis, but it is a lot quieter than normal.

a lot slower for us at the mo however i find its always a bit quieter may and june than the rest of the year ive tried in the past to analise why but not come up with anything concrete except that people takin holidays in school holidays have to pay for them this month and bank holidays always seem to upset things 😕

All i can say is thank god ‘er indoors (well outdoors mainly) has a good job with a steady income, not good for the male ego of course, but she’s the one keeping the ship afloat at the mo 😳
I sure HOPE this game turns around when the economic slump has passed, but to be honest i’m worried white goods repairs are going slowly but surely out of fashion in the publics eyes.
Sure hope i’m wrong though 😯
