Well, we sorted that lot pretty easily, thanks to P45 and JM11 for their good timing tonight and deleting skills 😉
What was that, 50 spam posts ?? 😯
If anyone “catches” any, if you would be good enough to grab their IP and mail it to admin@ukwhitegoods.co.uk hopefully it will help stop the twats as we can block them at the server (or Trevor can anyway :))
Trouble is some of these wankers are clever (and IT experts) so they can hide/change their IP at will so it’s a battle we’ll never really win, but we can but try 😕

I *think* that’s the end of that lot now, there was no way of blocking the recent one’s every bloody post had a different ip address 🙁
Over 100 yesterday and a whole load more overnight which Kevin (the early riser) got rid of.

Okay you can delete them, just delete the last post off each thread. They seem to be digging up old threads so as when you delete the post they drop back into the mists of time as it were, then if you try to access them off the scroll box of course the post it’s looking for doesn’t exist.
Note the IP address of the post though so I can ban them, Trevor can have a peek later and see what blocks to ban but at least it stops them posting from that IP for now and is a PITA for them to change. The faster we delete them the more pissed off they’ll get seeing that the site reacts to it quickly, therefore there’s little point in posting up crap.
Hopefully that will beat them. 😕

Ok, find the post – click on [ip], click on [identify ip], make a note, go back to post, click on [x], then let admin@ukwhitegoods.co.uk know so they can block them for future access.
It’s late and I’m knackered, so it’s all yours ’til Kev gets up.
