Hopefully toys are now back in their respective prams guys:rolls:
Does SERVICENORTHWEST have trade access ? Looking at his profile it lists no posts even though he has made one in the public Washer/Dryer forum.
On another tack, regarding Martins post about soldering Bosch carbons, Indespoint states that he can change brushes on a Bosch motor fitted to a Hotpoint WMA in 10 minutes without removing the motor from the machine, one clever b****r if you ask me. From my secret contacts which have unfortunately been curtailed due to the possible industrial action at the Indecent Company I know that Indespoint is in fact an Indesit engineer who has the cheek to slag off Hotpoint on their FSE forum even though he has only been there two years.

Naah, it’s a Masterpart equivalent. Dave uses Masterpart, so it just saves him looking it up twice.
How’s the errant digit?

I see said the blindmanRight – if spares@ sell the pukka component, spares@ buys at the Bosch 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} discount, right? Then sells on……. If spares@ buys the pattern part for £30 (memory, late, dodgy…..) and lets the punter have it for £10 off Bosch retail price ……… Punter V. happy (saved a few bob), and spares@ is working at a higher margin. Got to be good, hasn’t it?

Hope I have done the right thing here, this guy has posted this question in both the General & Technical forums, even posted the one in Tech as a ‘Sticky’. I have deleted the post from General and unstuck the Tech one, thought I would own up, just in case he/she asks. 😉

Not sure if the forum is the best place for this type of exchange, I think this thread should be removed and both parties invited to speak to each other directly.

KeymasterI don’t think so TBH. If he (pip) wants to doll it out he has to be prepared to take it as well and, if he’s in the wrong but goes public, then hell mend him IMO.
What is appropriate is to post a message asking them to discuss financial matters in private.
I can fully understand why John snapped right back though.

I’ve had a PM from pip about this tonight, reading between the lines it’s probably a tit for tat exchange IMO over some dispute they’ve had which may escalate.
Best left alone I think and let them sort it between themselves as mentioned.
I’ve locked the thread.

KeymasterI’d have left it just for the sheer entertainment value should they have wished to continue sparring. 😉

Sorry if I went a bit OT on this one, http://tinyurl.com/yn4f5k
It is just that until my contact had his access pulled, I saw some of the crap that indespoint was spouting on the FSE forum, he is still labouring under the illusion that Indesit is an excellent company that has been ruined by Hotpoint. 😯
