Spent an interesting while Googling.
We’re supposed to be engineers; so – any exposed aluminium/aluminium alloy surface oxidises very quickly and exposes no raw aluminium. Dangers arise through contact (I have never been able to wear any sort of watch, so I’ll buy into that one) or food. Aluminium is in all sorts of stuff – stop eating red Smarties right now! It does appear to be an additive in all sorts of foodstuffs, even bottled waters, which given the Camelford incedent, I can also believe.
Something like a m/w oven has minimal ali content, the exposed surfaces will be oxidised and the heat will simply cure those surfaces further.
The poster is fundementally wrong.

Next, didn’t see the AGA thing until now, great minds think alike apparently… and the rest…
Aluminium, I did a quick scoot on Google and discovered that there’s not a lot of real hard evidence to support the notion that it damages people all that much. That said, like most things of this ilk, it takes bloody decades to show and the problem is, where do you stop with it?

Oh dear, helo_75 was very rude to Adrian (baron) Chris has ‘had a word’ but I have also sent Rob a PM asking him not to be so abrupt.
I have asked him to try and understand the language difficulties that may give Adrians posts the impression of superior knowledge, ( actually he does have superior knowledge) and his command of English is a hell of a lot better than my Romanian, I suppose to someone as prickly as helo_75 Baron may appear condescending but we know that is definitely not the case.
