Why are you trying to source a selector switch when it may not be needed? Have you located that TOC yet?

I was trying to source TOC..already got a new selector switch.
The TOC is near lamp housing? Or located in there?..its quite charred around that area…is it ok to pull the insulation away?
I’ve googled to see what one looks like…hoping looking for the right thing!

you could add pictures as an attachment to a private message to me and I will see if I can add them
but if they are big you may have to send a few messagesMartin if the TOC had gone would in not stop the grill working as well ?

Good point Dave and I would think it likely it would. Though it would depend on the TOC’s location? Even so there must be one and it needs locating to be sure.

I hope these photos are better. Tried finding the TOC to no avail. Checked thermal fuse for continuity – no reading. Is it worth changing this? Any ideas where I can find the TOC?

this looks like a fusible link
try taking wires off and joining them as a test
or check it for continuity if you have a multimeter

That IS the “thermal fuse” (aka Thermal Overload Cutout 😉 )
