I’ll test it at some point when it’s quiet and see if I can figure it out.

The untick leave a shadow is still not working but when I checked back there doesn’t appear to be any notification that the post has been moved either.
I have deleted the initial post for now.
Jim.
Just moved another one, checking back the small icon at the front end of the topic in the forum list is different, a sort of broken paper clip, hover over it and it says moved, click on the topic and it takes you to the moved topic. 🙂The original post also seems to disappear from the view new posts list as well. 8)

This should be in the “Oh Matron’ thread really.
Just spotted this advert in the public dishwasher forums. Surely not something we should be promoting. :rolls:

Believe it or not that’s Google and they target your browser history to display ads so, it depends on where you’ve been what it shows. Other than that it tries to display relevant stuff to the site it’s on.

They are now trying to flog me camping gear, and I do mean back packs and tents, not any other type of ‘camping’ gear. 😆
PS. The end of the world is nigh, http://www.bbc.co.uk is down. 😯

Just followed the link from Facebook to the dishwasher article,
This statement intrigued me,
For the most part built in and what we refer to as “semi-integrated” are all but vanished from the market now
Are you referring to all integrated dishwashers, it appears to imply that. 😕

No, semi-integrated ones, exactly as billed and not fully integrated. Different things.

Just me being pedantic, but it does say “built in and what we refer to as “semi-integrated”
Now I would call fully integrated machines ‘built in’. 😛

Built in = decorative panel or veneer usually slipped into a trim around the door.
Semi-integrated = cupboard door fitted but facia visible.
Fully-integrated = totally concealed by the cupboard door.
That’s the definitions as I was trained as per the Germans who I think came up with the whole notion.

The ‘Quick Mod tools’ don’t seem to be working for me.
I tried to delete a spam post this morning and every time I hit the GO button it went back to the main forum.
I had to go into Moderator control panel, select the post then delete it.
I have just tried to move a post and the same thing happens using Quick Mod Tools.
There is no option to move a post in the Moderator CP. 😕

Just viewing the feeds and I just realised if you filter to the moderator feed I could view Kens last post :eeek:
Wouldn’t want dill or Martin to know what was being said or would we 👿
Can any of the filters be turned off?
