Hardly had any private work for the last 3 weeks, its been really poor but as luck would have it CDA have had 2 engineers off in my area and have been throwing about 10 calls per day at me so I have got through it nicely so far. The only problem is I have to keep up with the invoicing and wait for their BAKS day before the money comes in but it’s lovely when it does! No cash on the hip tho.. 🙁

Well it’s half-term once again so by definition is always quite when the little sh&ts are off school. Mid summer approaching so rich pickings ahead once again for those that can fix fridges. If the summer is hot and dry then these guys stand to make a killing but if you only fix laundry stuff then brace yourselves for a lean times ahead!(that’s what the tealeaves at the bottom tell me anyway):rolls:
I’m off on a long long hot holiday very soon, if only to avoid the pain of wondering why my phone ain’t ringing?
(Mmmmmm…..?)I expect Sailor Jim will be ‘splicing the mainbrace’ any time soon also?

Sadly nothing on the horizon. 😥
Having new windows, doors, soffits, facias and guttering replaced in next few weeks so the cruising is on the back burner. Will possibly be looking for something later on. 🙂

Huh I wish!
Bit of an unqualified remark there Martin.
There is No money in fixing fridges. Gone are the days when we drift into a home and fit a VT9 stat. Most calls are either system related or pcb failure & the customer doesn’t bother.
