I always thought working on premium brands I.e Maytag would keep the wolves from the door.
Not the case, I also would have thought if customers are not going for a repair they must be replacing, but that doesn’t seem to be the case either?
Who know’s whats going on, I certainly don’t..

3 calls only last week but this week much better. 3 yesterday, 6 today and 3 booked so far for tomorrow.Knackered now but with the tax due end of the month it’s a bit of a relief.

K.I can confirm that I’m also finding a drastic drop in conversions through my affiliate’s. People aren’t even buying online much any more at the moment unless they are going somewhere else.

Thanks LJ,i already cover there h/heath,b/hill and worthing branches.Problem is the further a field i go the higher the cost to landlords.
Some of which dont want to pay a call out charge.Im in the process of chasing invoices from two months ago as it is,and i do believe another chap locally covers there Crawley and Horsham branches all ready.
Talking to the girls at Qualtex some engineers around the country are busy and some are’nt.Its a situation that nobody will ever to be able to explain.The Twilight zone strikes again.Re: Worst Week Ever
I’m pretty sure the cover for crawley and horsham is the company i used to work for, I know as i got the contracts, 2 yrs i ran those for then the firm said they were closing the horsham branch and laid me off.
Anyhow the branch is still open and they are doing the work, though i don’t think they will be doing many repairs as they didn’t repair w/m,d/w etc only small goods people could take into the shop, i done all the washers etc i’m pretty certain they doing new installs.
Anyway if you wan’t to do horsham give chris a ring at the branch and mention LJ I’m certain he will give you work, Also the horsham branch pay weekly and never miss, they also insist u charge for every call out regardless, they do insist you let them know if it was customer at fault or caused the fault and then they bill the tenant.Re: Worst Week Ever
P.S HH branch used to use me too, Assisi Heights was one lot i used to make good money on.

LJ don’t worry, if a tenant leaves coins or bra wires is the favourite the letting agent is soon made aware.
Why is it the tenant always blames the machine,strange one that. 😀

Up here, it’s the first week of the school holidays, so it’s a bit quieter. Ticking over, though.
