Blimey, we are flat out, and I drive a Peugeot 407. Don’t ask why? Downgraded from a Passat and decided I would buy a simple conveyance 6 speed auto, bluetooth, all whistles and bells, but I dunno not the same. I even took it for an MOT this year, and normally I dont keep them that long, usually chop-em in. Never feel comfortable buying anything too flash otherwise there will be a “union meeting” in the carpark.

    Re: Worst Week Ever

Mine has just had its 2nd MOT, first time that has happened in 25 years. 😥

No union meetings in the car park if I mention a new motor, just earache from SWMBO. :rolls:

Spot on there Lee, exactly right mate I can, and do, pick and choose. The work I reject (and as I say a lot of which is Hotpoint these days) I pass on to my local competition*…. so everyone wins!

    * In total cooperation with Canufixit, Criscold & Appleelectrics whom I regards as colleagues rather than competition anyway.

Nah, never fancied merc’s. English Racing Green Jag XF 3 litre diesel. My van’s a diesel so can often mix up fuel receipts on my expenses some how?

    Re: Worst Week Ever

    Reasons for being quiet…..

September, kids just back to school.
October, half term so people away.
November, nearly Christmas so people are watching what they spend.
December, people on holiday and have overspent on presents.
January, new year sales starting so pick up a new machine in currys sale.
February, people skint after spending to much in sales.
    March, nearly easter.
April, easter people away on holiday.
May, could be work out there.
June, could also be work out there.
    July, schools breaking up.
    August, holiday season……

Looks like there could be two months of work in a year?

    😆

    Re: Worst Week Ever

Only had two calls in past fortnight, but then I am still on board this huge ship until Saturday. Both calls from ‘friends’. Now I know why I won’t give my mobile number to customers. 😉

Sailing back across the Bay of Biscay as I type, weather has been great for two weeks but we are promised some ‘motion on the ocean’ in next 24 hours. 😯

    Sailor Jim.
