ParticipantHi Dave: Reading his own thread about his machines problems, I got the impression that he wanted to remove the control panel to get at a duff button. It was a bit confused though, so I could be totally wrong.

Participantdave hello again, I eventually managed to get the back panel off the machine and the top lid,
it looks very complicated in there but I’m willing to give it a go, just need some direction on what to unscrew looks like the dryer fan maybe ?.
Would greatly appreciate your assistance again and if possible diagrams they were very helpful, anyway I know it’s Sunday probably your day off but don’t worry whenever you get time thank you so much again in advance .November 17, 2019 at 10:14 pm #449521electrofix
Moderatorremove item 100 ( see your diagram) unclip from soap draw then let it pivot till it unlocks from condenser (146)
remove the clip holding the lower hose onto the condenser (146)
then you can gently push up the fan assembly and slip the condenser out. unclip it from the bottom and your there
make sure the lower hose is well secure when replacing it as if it comes loose you will get a flood

ParticipantOkay this is all very new to me, is it possible you gave the wrong number item can’t find The number 100 anywhere it doesn’t seem to be that number on any of the diagrams. The diagram I posted is the dryer diagram, I also checked The hydraulic diagram, the electrical diagram still can’t find number 100 anywhere .
just to say I’m quite new at this sort of thing but very eager to learn, i’m sure it’s going to be a slow process for me so hope you will all bear with me thanks againNovember 18, 2019 at 1:57 pm #449523electrofix

Participantdave hello again, hope I can draw on your experience again.
I got to the last part. You suggested and removed the plastic ducting but the problem now is the fan seems to be connected tightly to the middle Metal bar or structure holding the machine together, I have removed some screws from the fan but there is a part that has no screws that seems to be connected to the Metal structure. I also have an overtight bolt with Limited access. Hope this makes some sense to you the part I’m referring to is number 18 on my original diagram which I need to lift up to remove the plastic bottle thing underneath which is blocked
well when I say plastic ducting I’m referring to part 100 which I removed and pivoted, sorry about the confusionNovember 27, 2019 at 3:49 pm #449525electrofix
Moderatorto get the fan off it sort of hooks in after you break the joint to the heater container but quite a lot of the time there is enough movement to lift the fan up “carefully” and just pop the condenser out Dave

ParticipantHello again managed to clean out the condenser reattach and the pressure chamber there was no dirt in the chamber, I seem to have extra problems now , Possibly pressure switches. Just a question the dryer cycle performs all the the motor actions as in tumble and reverse but there is water at the bottom of the machine and the clothes are obviously soaking wet and cold. I observed the machine with the back and lid off in action
1) no heat and nothing getting warm
2) The condenser had watering not sure if it was too much or too little
3) should the fan spin no action there at allDecember 4, 2019 at 6:58 pm #449527electrofix
Moderatorthat sounds like its not draining. does the pump work and drain ok ?
Dave
December 4, 2019 at 7:33 pm #449528Wishywashy62
ParticipantYes, but II think it only drains at a certain level, actually that’s not true I know it’s only drains at a certain level because I filled it for a wash and it kept filling so I switched off and the only way I could drain was by skipping to the drain function but I had to do that several times to eventually drain completely.
then I put some wet clothes in and skip to drain and spin that works okay, I’m completely perplexedDecember 4, 2019 at 7:59 pm #449529electrofix
Moderatorwell if you had to run the drain programme several times to drain it completely then it must be blocked
