ParticipantRe: hotpoint door parts
sorry dave,
the customer is getting confused i think,i’ve been to look at it just and it’s the main oven(lower)door handle and the grill door(top oven)lower trim she needs, and yes it is metal.it looks the same as the main oven door trim though.
thanks.

ParticipantRe: proline/ocean freezer
hi dave,
just thought i would keep you informed.
went for another look at this freezer.
took old fan motor out and it is made by a different manufacturer than the replacement you gave me the part no. for,but they are interchangable, you just have to swap the brackets holding it on with the old ones.
thanks for the help, works a treat now.

hi dave,
just had fan motor delivered and its not the right one,the one sent is the old type for the rear mounted ocean fan motor, and the shaft isn’t splined.any chance you can check part no’s for me please.the one i need is situated in the evaporator cavity and is held on with 2 metal brackets.

ParticipantRe: hpt TD VTD00G
i have already got the handle and the inner door,i just can’t see how the hinges come off the trim thats all.
i think i know what i’m doing wrong though now i think about it a bit, i will probable have to remove the hinges from the machine side first then fit them to the trim then assemble the thing as one.
has any one actually changes any before?

ParticipantRe: hpt TD VTD00G
yes i can see that the door splits but have you actually tried to remove the hinges from the inner door trim?the hinges seem to be factory fitted unless i’m cracking up.
any help appreciated.
