not sure it will fit looking at it, i don’t think the screw hole will be in the right place to fix it to the blower pipe.
any one got a part number just to make sure.

no,the yellow colour is just on the end of the actual element terminals.
i wasn’t aware that the hotpoint element had a thermal fuse fited within the element terminals,so i will use one if i have too.
is it not possible to get a genuine LG element from any where?

havent taken it out to measure it, and
it has no connection for a thermister .
it has two yellow coloured connectors which i suspect have a thermal fuse fitted .
the pressure system was blocked and the heater was coming on when no water was in the tub.
now the heater is open circuit.
