Contrary to belief by some the new Manager is not Darren Harrison he has set his sights on a different role, but wait for his return back to the industry. If he gets what he wants he has already suggested that he will do his best to support those people that supported him at Nesn. Our only hope is that conversations with him have sunk in and he pitches in at realistic rates.
I am still trying to find out about the new position at Connect , Dave Park is still on holiday , I need to speak to him next week and will see what information I can gleam from him.
Maybe I can find out some more about the alledged meeting between David Holden at Connect and Nesn s Chief Executive and not the managing Director!dp
Dave Parker will be with us on the evening of the 3rd and staying in our hotel.This will be the 2nd time he has come out with us for the evening and its important that you understand he is building his bridges with us in this way.He will be a very good contact for you all (in time) dont try to persuade him to go direct with us its already on his agenda

Quite interesting that dh is being signed on to generate £1.5 million in 3rd party sales,which generates his wages(a tidy sum)
Whirlpool are quite aware that their own network is not capable of doing all this work and I think(no insider knowledge)there will be oportunities for others.Whirlpool are about to supply me with appliances to start training engineers for them and have asked me to name my price!
JP suggests £350.00 per day.What do others think?
Whirlpool have expressed an intrest of the work we undertook for MFI and have already referred 2 service partners to me who were looking for help on their areas.
There is more to come from all this and for the moment I agree with “flipper” we should keep as much in house as we can.I will try to steer all whirlpool enquiries to our best advantage.

It has been known for the 1st one to bed to find his bar bill higher in the morning.Why this happens is a mystery so please dont complain to the chairman he will be fully implicated. 😀

the way out
Hand in your notice with the condition that payments must be maintained.
Time it for 3 days before the electrue payment ,you will get that.
Make sure you close every job possible to maximise that payment.Your payment on the 8th will have your advance payment deducted from it and this then gives you the opportunity to put Nesn on stop.This withdrawral of the advance will highlight to you that Nesn are way behind with collecting monies from their contracts……you will see from your own accounts that you will have Nesn unpaid invoices from 6 months previous.Because they withdraw the advance it then puts them into the position of being in arrears with you and you can put them on stop forthwith and not work your notice……which because they are not paying you correctly, would only increase their debt to you.Sounds complicated, but it allows you to take control,you know what the worst case is and wether you can cope with it on your cash flow etc etc.This is a planned get out with no legal implications…..you stand to lose money but you should be able to work out how much……….you also stand to receive some money as he has to pay whats due if you can show its been paid(I’m working on that) not an easy ride but a step in the right direction……..
Finally I would like to wish Nesn at least two more months so Mr chairman can get his dosh…………..he needs it to buy a round in(ha ha) 😆

Payment.
As far as Nesn go you are already allowing them to fuck you about every month by growling your discontent ,then doing the work when they graciously pay you two weeks late.Whilst I appreciate you have your own concerns over cash flow and paying your own bills,it will never get any easier whist you let Nesn rule and do as they like.It is easier for me as Nesn are only 9{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of my business,but you better switch on to the idea that they have serious cash flow problems of their own and one day(soon I hope)there will not be 60{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} with a further payment…..the pot will be empty.

Dave ,be patient and give them time to extract themselves from nesn.Remember they have a contract but be sure it is up for grabs ……
dishwasher training
Anyone who requires training on dishwashers only has to be able to pay for it.Dishwashers has always been a good source of revenue for those who are willing to do “built in ” appliances.There’s plenty of folk who cant do em and precious few who can do em right.Interested ?

Drinking the night away
😀 I have to admit that I follow my Chairmans lead and feel obliged to sit and drink with him,at least until 1.30pm when all good yorkshire men know its time to go to sleep,with a bit of luck I even get between the sheets. 8)
