    Thanks Dave.
I pushed down firmly on the drum and yes, bouncy but evenly bouncy if you know what I mean.

Do I assume it’s not meant to be like this even on this machine? This is an ISE after all Built like a truck and weighs 73kg!

We will have a go at replacing dampers. Will have to find out which part numbers we need as there seem to be a few to choose from on here. Not sure who I need to speak to but will have a further read. Thanks for your advice.

    Thanks Dave
Can we do this ourselves? How do we access them to check/change on an ISE W256W please?
Just checked on the parts list here and now totally confused as to which we need. Presumably, if the parts are unavailable we are snookered.

OK – given up on loading video. Have just watched the machine on a short programme with the top cover off. Very light load for 45 mins. It is spinning quite well and nearing end of cycle now, without banging. However, watching the drum during the wash there is so much movement from one side to the other it really is alarming. I called someone recently regarding a soap issue and the guy asked what make, how old. Buy a new one! (Just discovered one of the pipes had been pulled off the soap drawer by all the movement) Reluctant to dump it as it cost a fortune. Any suggestions folks? Thank you

Have since used the machine fully loaded with towels and it’s perfectly quiet. Do I take it that the mouse like squeak when agitating at the beginning of the cycle is nothing to worry about?

It’s when it is very gently swinging from side to side when agitating at the start of the cycle. I will pay attention to when it’s heavily loaded but it is seldom full.

ISE W256W detergent drawer push/click cover

My ISE W256W washing machine has been damaged by excessive pressure on the soft click opening door in front of the detergent drawer when it was being moved by kitchen fitters. Now won’t open by pressing on the corner to release. I think a piece of plastic has broken off. Has worked beautifully without issue before this.

Would someone kindly post a photo of the inside of the door cover showing the hook part on the inside where it makes contact with the catch (looks like a little roller).

I may then be able to see how it is broken & somehow repair
    Thanks in advance

Re: ISE soap dispenser won’t open

Is there a chance this won’t open because it isn’t level back to front of machine? I have just discovered detergent drawers are more complex than I thought ….valves and siphons etc How do I access this area on this machine please? I will see if I can find a way to open from inside. Machine useless unless I can get this open.
