    Well if it’s the brushes then it will be a bargain for someone 🙂 We needed a working machine quickly so have now bought a replacement.

    Hi, wiring all seems OK, brushes also look fine.

    It’s on ‘a well known auction site’ now for spares or repair, if no bidders it goes to the dump at the weekend…

    OK, thanks. A VT9 is a lot cheaper, if it will do the job. The current thermostat terminals are marked 3,4 & 6 does the VT9 have the same numbering?
