whilst the Welsh language is more than a bit strange to most people. The Germans also have an odd way with words and translations especially when it come to translating ‘technical’ words into English.

Now the reason ‘Impellor Jug’ was chosen by Bosch (who are German by the way)

Ok so just because im Welsh doesnt mean i have an iq of 4 😆 i do know they are from germany lol :rotfl:
Lol thanks for that ,very informative, some more information i can store in my poor little head. I’m also fairly new to ukwg so trying to get used to all the jargon .
Also the “impellor jug” that hoover are using on there d/w seem to have the same problem.

If the vibration continues check those damper legs the plastic “pin”that holds them in has popped out on me before causing bad vibration. 8)

Can i just say to start off, i have just spent the last 45mins reading the WHOLE of this thread! 😯 as many people have said it is a bloody epic. 😆 The reason it interested me is because i used to own the exact same model and after i changed the door gasket on it it never worked again just kept pumping out.I spent hours on the thing with no success, then i saw towards the end of doing yours you had the problem to (but you managed to fix yours)mine now is sitting in the back of the work shop, so the long and short of it is that I FEEL YOUR PAIN! and well done for keeping going with it! :worthy: on the subject of the last post (the condenser not getting any water) have you checked the inlet valves on it as the only 1 thing i could find on mine was when i took off the connector the one valve was burnt out.

    Good Luck Applianceman

lol got there in the end. To replace the heater you should just be able to undo the nut in the middle of the element(usually 8mm socket) this will release the rubber seal that holds it all in. I tend to try and not take the nut off all of the way unless the rubber seal really doesn’t want to budge (you will see why not when you take it out)the heater can move in and out and not move the rubber seal if you take the nut off(hope that makes sence) 😳 . let us know how you get on with it!

Have you checked the coupling that goes from the motor to the gear box , it snaps causing the drum not to spin? very common fault I’ve come across .

lol you obviously didn’t tell what they wanted to hear, they found someone to say what they wanted to hear. I would say indeshit have much bigger problems, ie. build quality im sure they are more than happy to get away with a couple of door gaskets. :stir: I see loads (i would say a good 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the washing machines i go to have some sort of mold in them) im sure it is getting more and more common due to everyone using cold washes. Does anyone know of good remedies to get rid of it?
