    I have looked at the diagram for this model and it was built b4 the test sequence was introduced. You cannot remove fault manually. F1 is displayed where? check water dispenser/valve, defrost heater, build up of crap behind lower grill (where water filter fits) if all ok it will be main pcb at the rear.

    Turn off mains for 3 mins, turn back on then open and close freezer door 3x. Test mode will start on its own, display will count down and any fault code will be displayed on front panel.

    probably centre microswitch. Had loads of them,such a small part but very expensive.

    whirlpool SxS dont have f1 fault, is it alarming after a short period of time or are there other problems. Have you tried the test program.?

    Thanks for the replys guys. I am not too familiar with this new model..Is the filter easy to get to? anyone got a part number for dryer ntc. Appliance at cm house so would rather go fully armed. Great site and invaluable info. 😆 😥
