Thanks ELDAR59 I checked the door seal first of all and all is good. I then spoke to technical at Liebherr who advised about the airflow sensor but as there was so much ice inside the fridge I was unable to remove the internal panel to expose the sensors. I didnt ask the tech guy the location of the sensor and was unable to get back through to him end of last week, so thanks for your reply.

You get 1 of these rings on the new part and you should still have the 1 that you removed… I cant believe Ken is responding to a post where customer thinks flow meter is possibly in the door….should of suggested an engineer visit to effect a safe and tested repair. All probability was the read switch which cost about £4

Check out the defrost heater..usual fault if tripping periodically.

Thanks for the reply,I have seen that pump in the shop but just wanted confirmation that is correct part, as not stated in shop.

Sorry being a bit blonde….it was constantly flashing.I was expecting a number of flashes to give a fault code but it flashed constantly.

Hi “CF” denotes a control board failure. It is deffo not cooling fan. You will need a set of control boards.If you post the serial number i should be able to give you a more acurate idea of the part or parts you will require.I may be able to supply you with the parts.
