ParticipantRe: bosch WAE244S0GB/ 15 washing machine not draining
Thanks guys,
Update…. The final one…… I found the blockage…… A pair of my wifes bloody pants in the sump drain!!! :rolls: how the hell do a pair of pants get in the drain?
Thanks again, and i now have a spare pump for if/when it does fail:)
Cheers,

Hmm, i still have an issue. I have a strange light flashing on the front panel which should be the light on the left as shown in the picture, this hasn’t flashed before and there is no reference to it in the manual. Theres also a f18 flashing code, which i believe is a blocked pipe or pump, i had checked the pipes first and now replaced the pump. I guess the pump can be confirmed as ok. So am i correct in believing the problem must lie with a blockage?
Thanks,

thanks lee8. I did post a thankyou yesterday but it didn’t seem to work… anyway, I ordered the part from here and it came this morning, so great service there thanks. I fitted it a short while ago and now have a load in the washing machine. It immediately sounded better, so on initial impressions, it appears that the pump was indeed rodgered.

ParticipantRe: which single oven, hob, hood & microwave grill to bu
thanks don. i have also been shown some fagor gear & the shop seemed to rave about them, but i’m not sure, i’ve never heard of them.
there is a slight update too.
the microwave is to be fitted
the oven needs to be able to be supplied by a 13 amp power supply but nowhere seems to state what supply the appliances use.
i’d like a chimney style extractor.
are the induction hobs any good?
i’m also after an integrated dishwasher
i’d like the hob, oven, & microwave to be matching (not too concerned with the dishwasher and hood though.
my budget is £1400 maximum.
any specific suggestions with this criteria?
thanks in advance

ParticipantRe: tumble dryer tripping consumer unit
well folks. just a quick update. i was going to have a look at the offending appliance again last night and thought i’d try it beforehand, lo and behold it worked. does this indicate a damp element?
thanks again.

ParticipantRe: tumble dryer tripping consumer unit
thanks for the reply mate. i have tried removing the banjo jobbie and all appears dry inside there, so the search continues.
what exactly causes the tripping? could it be a fuse? i haven’t tried that yet? could it be a short somewhere and how could i test it?
thanks again.
