ParticipantRe: Bearings jon Top Loading machine.
Success
FYI – A long 8″ plyer did not work, but I used a metal rod, made holes with self tapping screws so I could use it as a lever, it only took a small number of bangs with a hammer till I go the old bearing out.
Thanks again for all your help, much appreciated!

Only 130 pounds…
My feeling is If I buy the took it won’t even get many uses as bearings rarely go on these machines.
I think I may try inventing my own lever type device..
Thanks guys.btkatzman

Thanks Martin, very helpful, only thing is no matter what I tried I could not get that damn bearing off. (Yes I know some are counter clockwise) There seems to be a removal tool that I presume sticks into those holes. Any info, part number on this or other ideas to get it off. Thanks again 🙂

ParticipantRe: Thermistor
Thanks Kwatt and iadom,
I guess I was hoping this would be more like a defrost timer, which I finally worked how to different ones even with the numbers in a different order.
Does the same apply for the NTC’s that go inside the heater element on dryers? Will they not work at all if I interchange them or just not at the same temperatures?
I am relatively new to the business, and always trying to learn new tricks. It always seemed to me that the older machines usually had the old style thermostats, and new ones often NTC.
Got this from Wiki “The thermistor was invented by Samuel Ruben in 1930.”
Thanks again 🙂

ie: we say “we will call between 2 &5” customer hears “we will be on your doorstep at 2”or customer says “Ill be on school run 3-3.30″ which means ” Ill be out 2.30-4.30 if your lucky”
Hi, I’m new here, unfortunately can’t type much due to RSI, but I find so many of these so freakin true! just wondering whatyou do when you get stuck waiting, leave? charge more? -
