Thanks for the reply. I’ve done some more testing and it seems the machine is fine other than the “end ” LED staying off and the “active” LED staying on.
I did notice though, if you set the machine to wash but leave the door open………you would usually get one of the LED’s flashing (can’t remember which one now). This doesn’t happen either but the machine will not start up until the door is shut so I guess that’s another minor problem I can live with.
Sounds like control board to be as well.
Thanks againbugsy

Thanks again for your prompt help and sorting out my confusion!
I might still give it a go as otherwise machine seems good and from what I have read on here, some of the new models around now leave a lot to be desired. I’ll wait for the snow to go, get it outside and give myself a weekend.
Thank you againbugsy

Thank you again for your advise. I still don’t see this…… downloaded a diagram from the Bosch web site which shows something like you describe (but with three legs) only it is not on the outside by the pully but otherside in the drum. I assume these drums come apart for access to these bearings.
Maybe my vague model no has confused? Full model is Bosch Maxx WFL2260UK/01. Could it be as you described on a 2260UK/XX? Thanks in anticipationbugsy
ParticipantRe: Bosch wfl 2260 Drum Bearings
Thanks for the reply. I can’t see the part you refer to. If I look under the pully I can see the outer bearing, nothing else! Looks to me like the inner bearing is inside the drum. If that’s the case I guess it’s a pretty awkward job?
I ask myself if it’s worth reairing or not?
