    Re: How do you change a watervalve (hot water filling valve)

    my washer dryer has a metal plate just behind the pipe fitting.

    i’ve looked at the valve and it looks like i will need to take the metal plate off first and then replace it.

    does that make sense, and is this the way to do it?

    Hi,

    I’ve tested both water pipes.

    When I turn the hot water pipe off, the water stops filling the washing machine.

    The tap has a orange/brownish cap on, so i take it its the hot water pipe.

    Could any of you please let me know how i could go about in changing the watervalve on this washes dryer.

    I am not that experienced in washing machines, but I’m sure it can’t be too difficult.
