Re: Integrated Washing Machine Help Please!

I haven’t tried the link but I will give it a go in a second.

I honestly don’t think my friend could do it and so I do want a professional.

It was Curry’s I was going to order it from and they charge £85 to disconnect and remove the old integrated machine and replace with a new one.

I’m hoping if I look around maybe I can find an independent domestic appliance engineer to take it then, although they wouldn’t take my old machine away would they? Where as Curry’s would lol.

Oh dear I really am stuck then. Would it be a plumber or a washing machine person I need to install it?

Ok that’s great thank you very much for your help 🙂 wish things were simpler lol, I found installation for a normal machine costs £20 yet integrated is £85, surely the only difference is with an integrated you have to fix the door onto it? I’d rather fix the door on myself and save my self some money if that is the case haha.

    Its this one http://ao.com/product/WMI71641-Beko-Was … 21211.aspx

I have measured already and it should fit.

Its unfurnished although when I moved in it came with the cooker, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge, the dishwasher never worked since we moved in so the landlord removed it and left us with an empty space behind a cupboard door (he wouldn’t even put a cupboard base in it for us to use) but in my contract it states the landlord isn’t obligated to replace any white goods and so its up to me to replace the washing machine.

I’m worried now as I don’t want anything to go wrong but I don’t have £85 at all and there is no one to lend me it. Will it be easy for my friend to cap the hot water pipe or not?

    Thanks

I’m not sure it’s so old I think it was made in Italy and has 2 different names might be a Servis? Or something beginning with a c it doesn’t even say and yes it’s a washer dryer
