Engineer came this morning from NWAR, couldn’t have been more helpful and sorted out the problem – a reset cos the trip switch had blown due to overheating. It’s now working perfectly, touch wood. I see what you mean about not a DIY job though – what a palaver to get to the switch and no wonder you loathe them! Was very impressed indeed with NWAR, from the initial phone call from them through to their engineer’s expertise today.

Thanks to the board once again, it’s been very helpful.

Thanks very much for the quick reply….

The engineer who came to fix it the first time it broke down warned me off tablets and I’ve only used powder ever since. Is there anything I can do about the thermostat?
