    Thanks Phidom,
The new belt is now fitted and the machine is working well.
Just for anyone else’s reference who has to do this.
Zanussi’s new part number for the correct belt for this machine is 1108785005 this is for a 1195J6 belt with old part number of 1240211506. It is very difficult to fit but will go on eventually.

    Thanks Phidom,
I’ve checked the bearings and they seem ok.

I’ve managed to get the rear half off now so have full access to replace it once I pick the new belt up tomorrow.

Can you just clarify for me please what the tensioning arrangements are? I’ can’t see a tensioning pulley or easily notice anyway of adjusting the motor position to tension the belt. Does it just go on with a bit of brute force & the position of motor & pulley control tention?

    Thanks

    Re: OVEN SHUTTING DOWN INTERMITTENTLY

    Hi,
I had the same problems as those earlier posters on my Electrolux EOB5630X oven and just thought I’d report that having ordered the part no. 8996619267611 from the spares area and having just fitted it the oven is all working normally again.

Thanks for the advice previously posted its much appreciated.
