Thanks for the quick reply electrofix (and for my other post on the Smeg oven!)
Just to check, is it the PCB itself or a separate component?
If its the PCB I was going to see if QER can repair it (~£75) and replace it myself, rather than the £150+ or so for a new one
Thanks

Hi, I’m getting the same fault as the OP and have tried resetting etc.
The only difference is that I’m able to get a full cycle for the intensive wash (though not sure how long that will last as the fault has got progressively worse on the other washes!)
Were there any answers to this fault?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply.
Finally got it going, the freezer dial had actually broken, so while it seemed to turn it didn’t actually do anything. Pulled it out and used a screwdriver to turn the recessed dial to off and left it for a while.
This seemed to work when I turned it back on!

ParticipantRe: Ariston ALD10 Washer Dryer – No power / functions
Thanks for the reply
One of your recommended engineers went round today. The motor had shorted and burnt out the PCB, he estimated it would cost £280 – 300 to repair.
So a new machine then and definately not an Ariston!

Mod ALD10Trying to fix for a friend. Previously it delayed starting for no reason and later had to be switched off to stop spinning. Now no power and no functions, I’ve had a quick ‘poke’ around inside and found no obvious problems like loose / burnt wires etc (not sure were the fuse may be) except I found a broken rubber belt 5mm diameter in section and 180mm diameter overall at the back end of the machine at the bottom ❗
Any advice would be great
