Re: Miele T234C Very Steamy – Not much condensing

    Hi, Thanks for your reply.

I’ve checked the drain tube and that seemed fine. It just seems to take slightly longer than normal, plus there was a some condensation inside the machine when I took the lid off.

Replaced the carbon blocks, but unfortunately the problem remains.

Does anyone know exactly where the sensors are so I can take a look at them and clean then if necessary?

Obviously I’m loathed just to keep throwing money at it.

    Thanks,

    Dan

Many thanks for the part number, and these are responsible for the moisture sensing?

Right, I’ll pop the top off later and take a look!

Can these carbon blocks be replaced?

    UPDATE:

They are very warn, any thoughts on part numbers or suppliers?

If you are a little patient, one of the Miele chaps will give you a more definitive answer. Bear in mind that this is a Miele appliance – if it needs parts, you’re going to pay. Lots.

Ah so that’s how it does it, are these temperature sensors accessible? Could it be that they have got covered in fluff and are too insulated to give a correct reading?

    Power off please!!!!
    No LED lights flashing?
    Hope this helps

Hi thanks for the reply, the two blocks on the top are fairly worn. But I thought they were for the motor, are they related to the moisture sensors?

No flashing lights or anything untoward.
