    Re: SMEG DI6012 leaking – Error E1

So it’s definitely between the black tube and the area above it. Afraid I’ve no idea where next. Do I attack from inside the machine to get at it, or underneath and any idea the name of these parts should they need replacing. Thanks for help so far.

On the picture, you can see a black tube which has wet patches. This is where the drips are coming from. So it’s either directly from this part (don’t know what it is), or something just above it. Does this help identify the problem?

What is the best way to do that? Sounds like I need to take the machine to bits to get to it.

Re: kenwood kdw243a error code E4

As above, I’ve had the e4 code and done as noted and problem 1 solved. The leak was located where the tube bringing in water at top of machine meets the ‘nut?’ at the top as the screw connection has deteriorated. What I need is a spare – but not sure what it is called. Alternatively, as machine installed early 2007 is it worth it?

Re: Zanussi washing drum not spinning in operation or stoppe

I can now turn anti clockwise but with resistance clockwise. I also took off the back to find belt off which has now been placed back on. However, although it is spinning in operation it does not sound right when moving anti clockwise. Do you think something is fundamentally wrong, or is there a way to check for something that might be jamming/rubbing as it does not move freely.

How do I do this? Is this a simple job I can do from the inside of the dishwasher, or do I need to move it?

    Re: Leisure Cookmaster 100 – CM10FRC

    Hi K,

Wanted to say that the element worked. Very fiddly to do coming from the back, but would be required again to take elecircal wores on and off so screws went back in the base of the unit. Good thing was I got to give the oven a good clean too. Many thanks for all your great help – vastly appreciated.

Any chance you know about dishwashers? The rotary arm on the botton of our integrated Kenwood washer hasn’t spun for a couple of years now, but with new found confidence thought you may have a trick up your sleave?

    Thanks again, Daniel

Rare normally means good, but in this case I’m not so sure. Do you think I’ll be ok screwing back on from the front once I get them off as surely this is more sensible. Thanks, Daniel

….and another view for good measure. You can just see where the element has split and sprayed the back of the cooker!

    Hi K,

Hopefully these pictures highlight significant footage for you to tell. They feel like screw threads which is why I’m slightly bemused.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

    Re: Leisure Cookmaster 100 – CM10FRC

I’ve received the part now, but when looking to remove the element it looks like the screws come through the back?! Is this correct or should that always be attached from the front? I took some pictures if it is possible to upload for confirmation.

Does it look like I need to pull the oven out to release screws?

    Thanks,

    Daniel

Many thanks K. I’ll take a look tonight and then get some parts ordered to fix it, hopefully!

    Re: Leisure Cookmaster 100 – CM10FRC

    Thanks K.

Is this a relatively easy thing to replace. I’m hoping from some pictures I’ve seen that I can access this from the inside of the oven (without pulling it out), and simply replace, or am I being a bit simplistic with this hope.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

    Re: Leisure Cookmaster 100 – CM10FRC

    Thanks K.

Its the Leisure Cookmaster 100, model number is either CM10FRC-CM10FRK, CM10FRCP-CM10FRKP or CM10BRC-CM10BRK. I can’t see in the manual the differentiations. It’s a dual fuel cooker with eletric ovens. Does this help?

How can I check if it is the element? Any tips would be appreciated thanks.

    Daniel
