Yes, legally you will but it sounds as if it may just need a new electrode so a straightforward enough repair 🙂

Check the repairs@ link below, that should put you in touch with one hopefully.

The hood will still work, once you have the whole thing off the wall the microwave is basically a completley seperate appliance, the only common part being the mains connection block.

If you really want to have a go (and I’d agree they are a total nightmare to work on, I had to phone johnmac11 to find out how to get one apart a few months back) the microwave slides out of the main housing but you need to remove virtually every visable screw to get it out, once you’ve done that and found the problem the leads that connect it aren’t long enough to test so you need to do a virtual rebuild to check.

Walk away would be my advice as previous 😉

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the machine to be honest.

Has she still got the user manual ?

Re: Kenwood Haloheat Ceramic Hob SD305

Quite often the shaft sizes the knob fits on to are pretty standard, if you have friends/family who are willing, pull a knob off their cookers and see if they fit.

When you find one that does, let me know the make and model of that cooker/hob and I’ll price replacements for you 🙂

I posted it here some weeks ago:

If that’s not correct, email me the PNC and I’ll grab it later for you and attacxh to a reply (it’ll be a huge file though 😯 )

Re: Tricity Sovereign 4638 top oven grill switch

It’s operated by the R/H door hinge (power off when checking :zap:) from memory.

You may be able to source a suitable switch from somewhere as the original is obsolete now I’m afraid.

Re: Please help me write about the ISE washing machine

Do you need model numbers specific Andy ?

For example – Servis M3001 module replacement trade price £60.30.

So, with a reasonble mark up (25{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} ?) and a ballpark £50 labour rate, the repair would total £147.32 inc VAT.

    Heater failure possibly.

Power off if checking yourself or check the repairs@ link below for an engineer if you’re unsure 🙂

Re: Indesit DV 62K NOT FILLING

Fill valve, pressure switch, blockages, the timer, poor connections, broken leads…….

It could be a number of things to be honest. Power off please if you investigate yourself :zap: or check the repairs@ link below for an engineer 🙂

Re: Diplomat ADP8902 Dishwasher 5th light flashing??

Lamp 5 flashing with no others lit isn’t a fault code so it points to the PCB or possibly the dispensor solenoid.

You could try resetting it (search for Diplomat and Smeg in the public dishwasher forums).

The PCB is part number 696290673 at £108.99 ex VAT list from MFI or Smeg.

I’ve deleted the other post about the price etc as I’ve answered it here for you 😀
